A Review On Sony Bravia XBR KDL-40XBR7 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV
I am an IT guy and I love electronics. Music and tv are my passion and also this is the reason why i decided to write relating to this tv, because i care.
Now so far as the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-40XBR7 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV concern goes.
Looks: Wow the most gorgeous, slickest TV I’ve ever seen. Sound: Great sound although i am likely to get a top quality surround system later on in 2010. Picture quality: I’m very happy with the deep amounts of black with this set. I love the work that 120hz does with all the 3 different types of settings it has ( while you can’t chose a 120Hz ON or OFF option per say)I have ATT U-Verse that i absolutely despise and i think provides the worst quality of picture to day and that i can’t wait to improve it. Having that said, the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-40XBR7 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV has a much better quality then your 37″ Visio that we have right next to it.
Overall positives: Great deep black levels, unbelievably warm colors, tons of options to adjust the caliber of the image, excellent gui and the like.
Negatives: there’s white “halo” on both top corners of the TV when changing channels and the screen is black. This got me worried initially and i also hope it won’t get worst in the future until then it is just a minor detail. ( i am not sure in the event the warranty will cover it or not”
Would i recommend it to a friend? Yes i’d. Would i recommend it to some relative? Of course i would.
Conclusion: Overall a fantastic TV that does an excellent job with regular channels and a superb job with HD channels. For the quantity of $ that we purchased this Sony Bravia LCD HDTV it really is well worth it. Ah and something more time: should you learn anything out of this review aside from the undeniable fact that this TV is equally as good as it looks, Study on my mistake , nor get ATT U-verse because you will surely regret it.
